European Commission and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology are organizing the Copernicus Information and Training sessionon 7 October 2016 in Athens. The workshop is aimed at encouraging the active involvement (user uptake) of -existing and potential- users of the Copernicus services (public bodies, companies, citizens), through raising awareness on the opportunities provided by the program. Furthermore, it aims to create a core of users that will form the basis for future, wider network of users of Copernicus services.
The workshop will take place at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (N.H.R.F) and constitutes the first of a series of national Copernicus events which the European Commission will be organising at the request of, and in collaboration with Member States.
