The new Advisory Committee of the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology – GRNET S.A. has been appointed by the Minister of State and Digital Governance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis. The Committee is GRNET supreme scientific body, responsible for issues in the fields of research and technology. Its notable membership is composed of the educational and research community of the universities and research centers, possessing many years of experience and contribution to GRNET fields of activity.
Professor Nectarios Koziris, Dean of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, assumes the role of Chairman.
The role of the Advisory Committee is crucial for GRNET’s operation and course of actions, as it assists the Board of Directors in their work and proposes the company’s strategic issues. The Committee operates and acts as an independent body and it is responsible to assess GRNET’s overall output of work.
