The Project "Central Electronic Services for the internship of the higher education students - ATLAS Expansion" involves the expansion of the existing service named ATLAS.
The main objectives of the Project are the upgrade of the "ATLAS" service in order to
- support the organisation and implementation processes of student’s internships in companies or bodies of the public/wider public sector and/or other bodies,
- implement more efficient ways to connect the educational and training systems with the labour market
- optimise the procedures of internships, by taking into account the proposals of the parties involved for the benefit of its end users,
- enhance the role of the student’s internship and strengthen the access to employment and first working experience.
The project includes indicatively the following additions/upgrades:
- Possibility of certifying Internship Hosting Entities through TaxisNet without any human intervention,
- Possibility of registering an entity logo and description by Internship Hosting Entities
- Optimization of Internship search tool for students,
- Possibility of saving favourite Internship positions by students through the system,
- Certificate of Internship with advanced features (QR code verification),
- Recommendation letter issued by the Internship Hosting Entity in favour of the student,
- Possibility for students to post CVs,
- Enrichment of students accounts with data that is necessary for the management of the internship,
- Possibility to declare the method for financing an internship,
- Listing documents accompanying the internship,
- Upgrading the app usage experience
- Confirming and ensuring the due operation of the system
- Compliance with the new GDPR Regulation
Upon completion of the project, the "ATLAS" service will become more user-friendly for the members of the academic community and the Internship Hosting Entities. Additionally, the project will simplify the process of finding an internship, reduce bureaucracy and enhance transparency.
The project is implemented within the framework of the O.P. "Public Sector Reform" and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and National resources.
