The new Board of Directors and the elected new CEO have been announced for the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology – GRNET S.A. , on 28/08/2023. The management of the Board of Directors was officially appointed by the Minister of Digital Governance, Mr. Papastergiou, as follows: Stefanos Kollias, Professor in the Department of Computer Science of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, was appointed, for the second consecutive term, as Chairman. Dimitrios Katsianis, Assistant Professor in the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, was appointed as the new Deputy Chairman.
GRNET is utilising its experience of more than twenty-five years to move forward in developing systems, infrastructures and digital services that incorporate the latest technologies of Big Data, Open Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and the development of Digital Skills, responding to the challenges of our times.
Following the relevant procedures, the composition of the new GRNET Board is as follows:
