1st nmaas User Workshop will take place in Athens, 20–21 October 2026

The 1st nmaas User Workshop will take place on 20–21 October 2026 in Athens, Greece, bringing together nmaas users, adopters, developers and stakeholders for two days of knowledge exchange, discussion and collaboration. The workshop is organised by the GÉANT GN5-2 project, Work Package 6, by the nmaas team working within Task 2 and hosted by GRNET S.A. – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology.

Νmaas is an open-source, general-purpose application orchestrator that enables users to deploy, manage and operate applications in a multi-tenant cloud environment. Supporting a wide range of use cases, including network management and monitoring, nmaas has been available as a production service to the GÉANT community for several years.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for the growing nmaas community to share practical experiences and explore how the platform is being used across different environments.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Share practical experiences and deployment scenarios
  • Present use cases and lessons learned
  • Exchange feedback with the nmaas team
  • Discuss future platform developments
  • Explore common challenges and opportunities
  • Strengthen collaboration within the nmaas community

Participants are encouraged to attend in person to make the most of the discussions, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities. Remote participation will also be available for those unable to travel to Athens.
