
The «LLM-BRIDGE» (Booster for Regional Innovation and Digital Growth in Europe) project aims to develop a Pan-European incubator in order to create an ecosystem of startup companies and support teams in the early stages of product development (Minimum Viable Products, MVPs) that will utilize Generative Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models.
The results of the project will promote links between research and industry in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) in the European Union.
GRNET's role in the project includes:
- Supporting the initiatives that will be developed during the project and providing technical assistance to selected start-ups
- Offering 300,000 CPU hours and 21,000 GPU hours for the project's needs.
More specifically, GRNET participates in the following:
- Project management, quality assurance, ethics, and data management
- Identifying challenges and needs
- Business incubator program
- Achieving long-term goals
- Creating an ecosystem and involving stakeholders
- Communication, dissemination, community building, and exploitation of project results

The project budget is 50% funded by the EU (specifically the Digital Europe Programme) and the remaining 50% by the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence.
