GRNET participates in the “Enhanced EOSC Core Capabilities for a Federated Future” webinar, taking place on 30 June 2026, presenting the latest advancements in the EOSC Core Capabilities for the next generation of the EOSC Federation.
Organised in the framework of the EOSC Beyond project, the webinar will showcase the enhanced EOSC Core services currently being made available for testing through the EOSC Core Innovation Sandbox, the project’s pre-production environment.
GRNET will have a strong presence in the webinar programme, contributing technical updates on key EOSC Core services through three dedicated presentations:
- The Next-Generation EOSC Core: An Update – Node Registry – Federated Search – Kostas Koumantaros
- Enhanced AAI – Nicolas Liampotis
- Improved Monitoring- Themis Zamani
As EOSC Beyond enters its final year, the focus is shifting from design to deployment, with upgraded core services aimed at supporting a more resilient, interoperable and distributed EOSC Federation.
The webinar will provide a technical deep-dive into updated EOSC Core capabilities, including Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructure (AAI), monitoring services, federated helpdesk functionalities, as well as developments related to the Node Registry and Federated Search.
Participants will learn how these upgrades can support EOSC pilot node operators, service and data providers, research infrastructure managers and technical teams working on the future EOSC Federation.
