GRNET played a prominent role at the EOSC Winter School and the co-located EOSC Stakeholder Brokerage Event, held on 27–29 January 2026 in Nice, France.
Represented by Kostas Koumantaros, Head of Strategy and Themis Zamani, Head of Development at GRNET’s European Infrastructures and Projects Directorate, GRNET showcased its EOSC Core tools and services, underlining their contribution to strengthening service discovery, interoperability, and operational resilience within the EOSC ecosystem.
In his interventions, Kostas Koumantaros addressed key challenges related to service discovery and interoperability through targeted lightning talk and contributed as co-chair to dedicated sessions focusing on EOSC-specific incident handling and mitigation. These contributions aligned closely with the objectives of the Winter School, which aimed to advance convergence around the EOSC Federation and foster collaboration among EOSC stakeholders.
The event was organised by EOSC-A with the support of the EOSC Gravity and brought together a broad representation of the EOSC community.
