GRNET hosted the online webinar “Making Learning Materials FAIR: An Introductory Guide to the FAIR-by-Design Methodology” for Skills4EOC and GR-CC on 26/8/2025

On Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, GRNET  successfully hosted a 90-minute online training session introducing the FAIR-by-Design methodology, in the context of the Skills4EOSC project and the National Competence Center (GR-CC). The webinar attracted instructional designers, educators and digital education professionals eager to strengthen their expertise in creating high-quality, reusable and accessible learning materials.

Led by Sonja Filiposka, Task Leader for FAIR-by-Design within Skills4EOSC, the session offered a practical guide to embedding the FAIR principles –Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable– directly into the instructional design process. Participants explored each stage of the methodology through concrete examples and best practices, gaining actionable insights to improve the visibility, sustainability and long-term impact of their educational content.

The event highlighted the growing importance of FAIR-aligned practices in digital education. By demystifying compliance and providing clear strategies, the webinar marked a significant step toward more open, interoperable and collaborative learning ecosystems across Europe.
