“A Practical Guide to LLM Deployment and RAG Systems” by EuroCC Cyprus, in collaboration with EuroCC@Greece, on September 10th, 2025

CaSToRC, the National HPC Competence Center of Cyprus, announced the  EuroCC-2 Training Event “A Practical Guide to LLM Deployment and RAG Systems”, organised in collaboration with EuroCC@Greece, taking place on-site and online (hybrid), on September 10th, 2025.

The program will combine lectures and hands-on sessions, focusing on practical workflows for local deployment, inference, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Participants will learn how to use the Hugging Face ecosystem for transformers and embeddings, experiment with inference and semantic similarity techniques, and build retrieval-enabled applications. The hands-on part will include deploying models on Cyclone, the National HPC infrastructure, using tools such as vLLM and Haystack to set up model-serving pipelines and integrate retrieval with generation.

Date: September 10th, 2025, 10:00-14:30, Cyprus time

Venue: This training event is hybrid. Join at the Andreas Mouskos Seminar Room, The Cyprus Institute. Otherwise, please connect to the discussion’s live stream, available on Zoom here (Password: VsSCz1)
