GRNET organizes Skills4EOSC Webinar “Making Learning Materials FAIR: An Introductory Guide to the FAIR-by-Design Methodology” on 26/8/2025

On 26/8/2025, GRNET, as part of the Skills4EOSC project and National Competence Center (GR CC), is hosting the online webinar titled “Making Learning Materials FAIR: An Introductory Guide to the FAIR-by-Design Methodology”, designed for instructional designers and professionals involved in developing and curating educational materials.

Organised in the context of the Skills4EOSC project, this webinar session will introduce the FAIR-by-Design methodology, a practical framework aimed at embedding the FAIR principles — Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable — directly into the design and development of learning resources.

The webinar will walk participants through the core concepts of FAIR as applied to educational materials and demonstrate how to incorporate these principles during the instructional design process. By focusing on actionable steps and best practices, the session will help demystify FAIR compliance and support participants in creating learning content that is not only pedagogically effective but also openly shareable and sustainable.

The event is addressed to instructional designers, educators, digital education support professionals, and anyone involved in creating or managing online learning content.

The trainer for this event will be Sonja Filiposka, the FAIR-by-Design Methodology Task Leader in the Skills4EOSC project. A professor and researcher with deep expertise in open science, digital infrastructure, and instructional design, she leads the development of strategies for integrating FAIR principles into educational materials.
