Stefanos Kollias, Professor Emeritus at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Chairman of the Board at GRNET and Coordinator of the AI Factory “Pharos” participates at the 2nd Synergies Forum on Cancer – Policy, Research & Funding Strategies organised by the Hellenic Cancer Federation – ELL.O.K.

The Forum aims to highlight the opportunities, challenges and actions that can lead to more effective cancer control and management, while also focusing on the strategies needed to support the development of robust cancer policies. A key objective is also to ensure the optimal utilization of the EU-funded Cancer Mission program, which promotes collaborative research across stakeholders, with the ultimate goal of translating research outcomes into real-world impact through the implementation of innovative practices and interaction across Member States in cancer care.
- Kollias participates at Session 4, on Tuesday the 1st of July, 12:00 – 12:50 “Integrating AI into Cancer Care”, and will present insights on the intersection of digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence and health innovation through the lens of Pharos, the Greek AI Factory, a project coordinated by GRNET, in collaboration with a consortium of partners.
