On April 11th, 2025, GRNET, in collaboration with CERTH, successfully hosted the hybrid event “Demystifying EBSI: Seminar & Training – All you need to know about EBSI” dedicated to exploring the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and its potential for public services and digital innovation in Europe.

The event welcomed 55 people, physically and online, amongst them policymakers, researchers, professionals, and public sector representatives who engaged in insightful discussions and practical training.

Key points discussed during the tow sessions:

Session 1: Seminar – GRNET introduced the EBSI initiative and its growing role in shaping a secure, scalable, and interoperable blockchain infrastructure across Europe. The session also highlighted how the EBSI Node Expansion (EBSI-NE) project contributes to this evolving ecosystem.

Session 2: Training – CERTH shared implementation know-how, guiding participants through onboarding, node setup, and technical operations, while also presenting real-world use cases and an interoperable wallet solution.
