GRNET had the special honour to host GÉANT’s South East Europe (SEE) Directors Forum, at Athens Greece Headquarter premises, on October 11th, focusing on the latest developments in the SEE community.
Meaningful inputs and specialised talks took place, with the participating NREN experts attending the meeting physically and remotely. Through consistent collaboration and dynamic knowledge transfer within the community, NRENs move towards the creation of a Terrabit Network. As mentioned during the talks, “a recurrent theme (within the SEE community) is the desire for knowledge sharing and learning from the experiences of other NRENs indicating a healthy appetite for collaborative learning and development within the community”.
GRNET is an active NREN member, representing the Greek R&E Network ecosystem, at the GÉANT collaboration of European National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), where together we deliver an information ecosystem of infrastructure and services to advance research, education, and innovation on a global scale.
