GRNET announces, in cooperation with Amazon and Rackspace Technology the Info Day “GRNET Amazon Web Services for the Greek Academic and Research Community“, that will take place on April 4th, 2023, at OTEAcademy.
The Info Day aims to inform the Academic and Research Institutions, connected to the GRNET network, about the utilisation of Amazon’s cloud computing services and successful use cases via the OCRE framework contracted through Rackspace Technology. The services are made available via GRNET under the OCRE framework, free of charge for the above mentioned beneficiary institutions in Greece. Amazon’s available resources and cloud services will be presented and participants will be informed about GRNET’s resource allocation framework serving the beneficiary institutions.
The day consists of two parts:
Part A: Addressed to IT and network engineers (NOC) of Academic and Research Institutions connected to the GRNET network.
Part B: Addressed to academic and research staff of all levels, laboratory managers and administrative staff of institutions connected to the GRNET Network.
