The TEHDAS2 (Second Joint Action Towards the European Health Data Space) project aims to harmonize procedures and rules for the secondary use of health data (i.e., the use of data collected for the provision of care, exploited for purposes such as research, public health, and innovation) in the European Health Data Space (EHDS).<\/p>\n
It will also focus on developing technical and organisational specifications for secure data processing and access, as well as supporting Member States in the harmonised implementation of European Health Data Space legislation.<\/p>\n
The project is expected to deliver significant benefits, such as improving the discovery and description of health data sets, enhancing their interoperability so that they can be more easily exploited at European level, and developing more robust governance and cooperation mechanisms. In addition, it will strengthen citizen participation by enhancing transparency and trust in the use of health data.<\/p>\n
GRNET will participate as an affiliated entity in the project, acting as an advisor on technical issues. More specifically, it will participate in the following project tasks:<\/p>\n
