The aim <\/b>of <\/b>the “SAGE: The Data Space for a Sustainable Green Europe” project is to further develop the Green Deal Data Space (GDDS)<\/span><\/a>, taking into account all the developments and results of the Coordination and Support Action of the Preparatory actions for the Green Deal data space, as well as the results of the Horizon Europe projects funded under the Common European Green Deal Data Space.<\/p>\r\n

As a benefit<\/b>, the results of the project will provide more accessible and exploitable environmental observation data, supporting the priority actions of the European Green Deal.<\/p>\r\n

The SAGE project will also benefit<\/b> by developing a technical infrastructure and governance mechanism for GDDS and its associated use cases, enabling the reuse and sharing of data from existing relevant data ecosystems and data spaces, which will feed new services and applications that contribute to the achievement of the European Green Deal objectives.<\/p>\r\n

The main role of GRNET<\/b> concerns the “GDDS Trust framework and AAI Federation”, and it is also involved in other tasks, where it will provide expertise and services for Accounting, Monitoring, Messaging and Persistent Identifiers (PID).<\/p>\r\n
