{"id":16102,"date":"2024-01-04T08:51:15","date_gmt":"2024-01-04T08:51:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/business-directory\/e-safety\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T17:42:01","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T15:42:01","slug":"e-safety-en","status":"publish","type":"wpbdp_listing","link":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/en\/business-directory\/e-safety-en\/","title":{"rendered":"e-Safety"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16098\" src=\"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/e-safety-banner-1024x215.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The project &#8220;eSafety-eCreativity Network for Teachers, Parents &amp; Guardians&#8221; <strong>includes the <\/strong><strong>design and implementation of a holistic learning network to support Digital Readiness<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The project has two objectives<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"1\">\r\n<li>Supporting Digital Readiness with a focus on cultivating Digital Competences\/Digital Literacy of teachers, parents, guardians and mental health professionals.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0Counselling of parents\/guardians, teachers and professionals on issues related to the development of digital competencies of children\/students, focusing on empathic active listening techniques.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The main benefit of the project is to enhance the safety, creativity, responsibility and confidence of children, young people and adults in relation to new digital technologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>More specifically, <strong>the project will focus on three areas<\/strong> to achieve these objectives:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Creating educational material on internet safety issues that can be used by parents, guardians, teachers and health professionals to educate and guide children<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Developing electronic distance learning e-learning methods for on-line training of teachers and mental health professionals and developing blended learning for parents and guardians<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Development of a platform for counselling and support on internet addiction and cyberbullying through sessions and free online content.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The<strong> main role of GRNET\u2019s participation <\/strong>in the project involves:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Coordination of the project<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Developing original educational material with an emphasis on developing digital skills\u00a0 that support and guide children appropriately.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Project Partners:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>GRNET (Greece)\/Coordinator<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>University of Crete &#8211; Laboratory for Advanced Teaching Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Distance Education (Greece)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>The Smile of the Child (Greece)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Pitchipoy Animation production (Israel)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Center for Social Innovation (CSI) (Cyprus)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Gordon Academic College of Education (Israel)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>EU-Rom Training and Consultancy (Romania)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>European Parents\u2019 Association<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The project is carried out in the framework of the European Programme Erasmus+ Key Action 2 (KA2): partnerships between organisations and institutions.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project &#8220;eSafety-eCreativity Network for Teachers, Parents &amp; Guardians&#8221; includes the design and implementation of a holistic learning network to support Digital Readiness.
