{"id":23753,"date":"2026-10-15T00:13:50","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T21:13:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/?p=23753"},"modified":"2026-10-15T13:10:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T10:10:08","slug":"nmaas-workshop-at-grnet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/en\/2026\/10\/15\/nmaas-workshop-at-grnet\/","title":{"rendered":"1st nmaas User Workshop will take place in Athens, 20\u201321 October 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 1st nmaas User Workshop will take place on 20\u201321 October 2026 in Athens, Greece, bringing together nmaas users, adopters, developers and stakeholders for two days of knowledge exchange, discussion and collaboration. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop is organised by the G\u00c9ANT GN5-2 project, Work Package 6, by the nmaas team working within Task 2 and hosted by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/en\/contact-us-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GRNET S.A. \u2013 National Infrastructures for Research and Technology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nmaas.eu\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u039dmaas<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an open-source, general-purpose application orchestrator that enables users to deploy, manage and operate applications in a multi-tenant cloud environment.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Supporting a wide range of use cases, including network management and monitoring, nmaas has been available as a production service to the G\u00c9ANT community for several years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop will provide an opportunity for the growing nmaas community to share practical experiences and explore how the platform is being used across different environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will have the opportunity to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share practical experiences and deployment scenarios<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Present use cases and lessons learned<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exchange feedback with the nmaas team<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discuss future platform developments<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Explore common challenges and opportunities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strengthen collaboration within the nmaas community<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants are encouraged to attend in person to make the most of the discussions, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities.
