{"id":22943,"date":"2026-05-27T15:51:05","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T12:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/?p=22943"},"modified":"2026-05-27T15:51:05","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T12:51:05","slug":"eusome-project-2nd-press-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/en\/2026\/05\/27\/eusome-project-2nd-press-release\/","title":{"rendered":"EUSOME publishes project&#8217;s latest achievements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The EUSOME project continues to make significant progress towards shaping the future of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in the South-East Mediterranean, marking more than 15 months of collaborative work and innovation among its consortium partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recently released 2nd EUSOME Press Release highlights the project\u2019s latest achievements, which include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The advancement of the EUSOME Digital Twin infrastructure for UAV simulation and testing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Progress in the development and design of the EUSOME eVTOL platform<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The launch of training and mentoring activities supporting the AAM ecosystem<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research developments in autonomous UAV technologies, including AI-driven trajectory prediction<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strengthening collaboration among partners and exchanging knowledge with three study visits in Serbia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dissemination of the project results so far in a number of fora, and publication of 4 journals and 13 conference papers which were presented at leading international conferences<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project aims to address critical regional challenges through advanced drone technologies and intelligent coordination systems, supporting applications such as goods transportation, emergency response, landscape surveillance, fire risk management, and traffic monitoring.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a consortium partner, GRNET \u2013 National Infrastructures for Research and Technology plays a key role in several core activities of the project.
