{"id":22493,"date":"2026-03-20T09:40:40","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T07:40:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/?p=22493"},"modified":"2026-03-20T09:41:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T07:41:03","slug":"grnet-strategic-meeting-finland-digital-population-data-services-agency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/en\/2026\/03\/20\/grnet-strategic-meeting-finland-digital-population-data-services-agency\/","title":{"rendered":"GRNET hosts Finnish Digital and Population Data Services Agency for strategic discussions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On <\/span><b>18 March 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, GRNET had the pleasure of hosting at its premises a<\/span><b> high-level strategic meeting <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with representatives of the<\/span><b> Finnish Digital and Population Data Services Agency<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting enabled a substantive exchange of best practices on topics of shared strategic interest, including <\/span><b>digitalisation governance models<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the role of <\/span><b>key\/base registries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the development of the <\/span><b>European Digital Identity Wallet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><b>EUDI Wallet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) and the development of AI Factories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discussions also covered <\/span><b>interoperability<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Artificial Intelligence<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>automation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>legislative frameworks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> supporting digital transformation, and lessons learned from EU-funded projects. Participants further explored emerging<\/span><b> cybersecurity challenges<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>digital resilience<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and issues of <\/span><b>European and national digital sovereignty<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including cloud strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting highlighted strong potential for <\/span><b>future collaboration at the European level<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, particularly in areas such as interoperability, digital identity, AI infrastructures, and ecosystem development.
