This initiative employs Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technologies to establish a foundation for unbreakable data security.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike conventional encryption methods\u2014which may eventually be rendered obsolete by the capabilities of quantum computers\u2014quantum communication is grounded in the principles of quantum mechanics. In particular, QKD provides a method for distributing encryption keys with theoretically unassailable security.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<h3><b>Excerpts from the televised statements<\/b>:<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Greece is now equipped to leverage quantum technologies to safeguard its critical infrastructure and sensitive data through HellasQCI, the National Quantum Communication Infrastructure.
