GRNET is participating in the interoperability testing event taking place on February 26 & 27, 2025, in Utrecht, as part of the POTENTIAL project. The event focuses on testing the use of the mobile driving licence through the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet), contributing to the development of digital identity solutions across the EU.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event has brought together ~100 participants from across Europe and beyond, highlighting the strong collaboration between digital wallet providers and car rental companies. The tests focus on the functionality of the Mobile Driving Licence (MDL) in a cross-border context.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participating Countries<\/b>:<\/span><\/h4>\n

The countries testing implementations include Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, and Greece. Additionally, Malta and Spain participated as observers, along with other international stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n
