{"id":17173,"date":"2024-04-19T10:19:19","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T10:19:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/?p=17173"},"modified":"2024-04-19T10:19:19","modified_gmt":"2024-04-19T10:19:19","slug":"hellasqci-nokia-wavelengths-april-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grnet.gr\/en\/2024\/04\/19\/hellasqci-nokia-wavelengths-april-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"HellasQCI participates at NOKIA Wavelengths 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wavelengths EMEA-LAT is a 3-day event organised by Nokia that aspires to bring the industry&#8217;s brightest minds together in Athens, Greece, on April 22-24, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Nokia&#8217;s latest network solutions will be shared, while numerous sessions are planned to discuss trending topics on optical networks and communications.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ilias Papastamatiou, GRNET, Project Coordinator of the HellasQCI project that builds the National Quantum Communication Infrastructure of Greece, is set to take part in the plenary session titled &#8220;Quantum-safe Networks: Bridging Theory and Practice&#8221; on Tuesday, April 23rd. This session will discuss how Quantum Communications technologies work in theory and how they are applied in practice through Quantum Networks. It will specifically highlight the HellasQCI project&#8217;s role in developing Greece&#8217;s National Quantum Communication Infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>A state-of-the-art proof of concept (PoC), developed by HellasQCI (GRNET, NKUA) in collaboration with Nokia, evolutionQ, and IDQ, will be revealed.
