EuroCC@Greece and the IT Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) announce the \u201cArtificial Intelligence\u00a0<\/b>(AI<\/b>)\u00a0on High Performance Computing\u00a0<\/b>(HPC<\/b>):\u00a0Boosting AI research and systems through the usage of HPC infrastructure<\/b>\u201d Hybrid\u00a0Seminar<\/b>, on October 11th, 2023, at 10:00 – 14:00 EET.<\/p>\n

Audience<\/b>: Suitable for members of the academic community and industry (researchers, data scientists, ML engineers, etc.) who are interested in the utilization of High Performance Computing technologies for Artificial Intelligence applications.<\/p>\n
Location<\/b>: On-site at the\u00a0KEDEA AUTH building (3rd September street – University Campus, 546 36 Thessaloniki)<\/a>\u00a0and Online via Zoom.<\/p>\n The seminar consists of two parts (see the detailed Agenda\u00a0here<\/a>):<\/p>\n A. <\/b>The first part will include an introduction to HPC technologies and infrastructures and their use for Artificial Intelligence applications. Relevant research activities of members of the AUTH and a tutorial on the use of the HPC infrastructure “Aristotle” of the AUTH for Artificial Intelligence applications will be presented.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n B. <\/b>The second part consists of a workshop (hands-on training) for the use of HPC techniques and infrastructures in the training of machine learning algorithms (AutoML).
